Hi, I’m Linda Langman
I was born in southern Manitoba and have lived most of my life in Canada. My husband (Greg) and I have been married for over 30 years and we have lived in four of Canada’s fine provinces. Greg and I have lived in Cochrane, Alberta since the summer of 2021 and we are loving being so close to the Rocky Mountains! We have 3 daughters and 2 sons-in-law who are all lovely human beings and are some of our favourite people to spend time with.
For the past three decades, I have been involved in ministry together with Greg both formally (when we were part of a couple of church plants together) and informally as I have been part of different churches where he has had various pastoral and other leadership roles in the Christian and Missionary Alliance denomination.
Who I am now has also been shaped by the fact that I have been an elementary school teacher, a stay-at-home Mom, an amateur actor in local community theatre and church contexts, and a school bus driver - just to name a few of the things I’ve been given my time and energy toward. I also graduated with a MA in Christian Ministries from Briercrest Seminary in the early 2000’s and, most recently, I trained as a spiritual director through Emmaus Formation Centre.
Having been in spiritual direction over several years myself, I have come to greatly appreciate this practice as I’ve become more aware of the ways God is interacting with me and communicating to me throughout my day to day life. I believe it could be beneficial for others too - no matter where one’s at on their spiritual journey.
